Fiberglass Resurfacing

Thank you for trusting us to transform your outdoor space. We are very excited to start this project with you and make sure you have the best experience possible.

Before starting our work, here are some important recommendations:

  • Prepare the work area: Please remove or protect furniture, toys, or flowerpots from the place where we will be working. We will only emit dust particles, not paint. This allows us to work with greater safety and comfort for you.
  • Pets and children: For safety, we ask that you keep your pets and children away from the work area during the execution of the project.
  • Free access: Make sure we have access to the necessary points such as water, electricity, or side entrances if there are any.
  • Weather conditions: In the event of inclement weather, we will notify you if any part of the work needs to be rescheduled.
  • Open communication: If you have any questions, preferences, or suggestions during the process, do not hesitate to talk to our team. We are here to help you. Call or text 407-898-5000, email thepoolrepairguys@gmail.com.

We are committed to offering you a quality result, on time and with the least possible impact on your daily routine.

What to Expect

  1. Initial Consultation and Assessment (Day 1):
  • Our team will visit your property to inspect the pool’s condition, checking for cracks, stains, or gelcoat damage.
  • We’ll provide color options like (e.g., classic blue, white, or custom shades) and confirm project details, including size and scope.
  1. Preparation (Days 1–2):
  • Draining: We’ll safely drain the pool, ensuring proper disposal of water per Florida regulations.
  • Surface Prep: Sandblast or grind the existing gelcoat to remove stains, blisters, or damaged areas, creating a clean surface for bonding.
  • Repairs: Patch minor cracks or osmosis blisters with fiberglass-compatible fillers to restore structural integrity.
  1. Resurfacing (Days 3–5):
  • Apply a high-quality, UV-resistant gelcoat or epoxy-based coating in your chosen color, ensuring a smooth, glossy finish.
  • Use multiple layers (primer, base coat, topcoat) for durability and resistance to Florida’s sun and chlorine exposure.
  • For surrounding areas, we can optionally apply Resin Rock’s slip-resistant, permeable resin-bound surfacing to enhance the pool deck’s safety and style (30+ color options).
  1. Curing and Refilling (Days 6–7):
  • Allow the coating to cure for 24–48 hours, protecting the pool from debris or rain.
  • Refill the pool with balanced water, testing pH and chlorine levels to ensure safe swimming conditions.
  • Conduct a final inspection with you to confirm satisfaction.
  1. Cleanup and Follow-Up:
  • We’ll remove all debris, leaving your property pristine.
  • Our team will provide maintenance tips (e.g., regular brushing, pH monitoring) to extend the life of your resurfaced pool.
  • A 10-year warranty covers workmanship and materials, compliant with Florida building codes.

Thank you for choosing us and get ready to enjoy an incredible space!
