Pool Light Problems and How We Fix Them

What we see most often:

Light is out. On older fixtures, a burned-out bulb. On LED fixtures, a failed unit or transformer.
Water inside the lens. A failed lens gasket. Water and electricity don’t mix, so this one shouldn’t wait.
Light trips the GFCI. Water in the fixture, a damaged cord or a wiring fault at the junction box.
Light hangs loose or keeps falling out. A broken retaining screw, ring or band.
Water loss around the light. A cracked light niche, the housing set in the pool wall, which leaks like any other fitting.

What we check

We test the circuit and GFCI, pull the fixture to inspect the gasket, cord and bulb, and dye test the niche if you’re losing water. Then you get options: repair the existing light, or upgrade to a low-voltage 12-volt LED.

A 12-volt LED fixture uses a fraction of the power of an old 300-watt incandescent, lasts far longer, and color models run built-in light shows. Low voltage is also safer in the water.

Gave me a windows of 3 days.. canceled on appointment day the was 5 hours late the next appointment date.. he came out replaced $10 worth of gaskets. Not to mention he spoke no English. Luckily my neighbor spoke Spanish and still communication was vague. He left. Spa was still going down when shut off, I called them the next day.gave me another 3 day windows and had the gaul to send another $145 deposit.. now had to call another pool company to fix it.. it's beyond me how they have so many good reviews unless they are fake.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!.
